100% recyclable wooden boxes, from sustainably managed forests
Traceable-origin wood, no plastics, no toxic inks and no components that complicate recycling. A packaging decision that does not contradict the rest of your brand story.
Saying "sustainable" is not enough
Brands with environmental messaging that ship their product in bubble wrap or laminated cardboard with plastic inks. Packaging gives you away more than any campaign.
- The same happens with wood: some boxes paint themselves "natural" but use synthetic varnishes, mixed hardware or adhesives that break the recycling chain.
- Sincla is built from the start to avoid that contradiction. We trace every component so the box can be recovered and recycled as clean wood, with no intermediate steps.
What goes (and does not go) into a Sincla box
Sustainability is decided in the bill of materials, not in marketing copy.
- Poplar from European forests with responsible forest management.
- 100% biodegradable: returns to the natural cycle without releasing microplastics or residues.
- No synthetic glues: tab-and-slot system removes the need for glue in most models.
- No screws, staples or metal hardware in standard models, for direct recycling.
- Inks and engravings that add no plastics: laser marks the wood and UV printing uses low-footprint inks.

Frequently asked questions
Where does the wood come from?
We work with poplar of European origin, with supplier traceability and responsible forest management.
Can it be composted?
Untreated wood is 100% biodegradable. If the box has UV printing we recommend removing that area before composting, as with any printed packaging.
How do I recycle a box at end of life?
It goes in the wood or vegetable waste container depending on municipality. Most models have no metals requiring separation.
How much CO₂ does it save vs. laminated cardboard?
Laminated cardboard mixes materials, making real recycling hard. Clean wood is more easily recycled and, shipped flat, has a lower transport footprint.
